Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. Now Accepting New Hampshire Medicaid in Haverhill and Saugus Outpatient Centers

Spectrum Health Systems, Inc., a longstanding organization dedicated to providing a comprehensive continuum of addiction treatment throughout Massachusetts, has announced that it is now accepting clients with New Hampshire Medicaid at its Haverhill and Saugus outpatient treatment centers. Both the Haverhill and Saugus facilities provide life-saving medication-assisted treatment paired with group and individual therapy and educational sessions to people struggling with addiction.

“We’re pleased to be able to welcome our neighbors in New Hampshire who are enrolled in the Granite State’s Medicaid insurance program at our Haverhill and Saugus outpatient facilities,” said Sherry Ellis, Chief Operating officer, Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. “Our biggest goal at Spectrum is to expand access to addiction treatment for anyone who needs it. Assisting more New England residents is a big step as we strive to treat 500,000 more clients by 2025. New Hampshire Medicaid covers medical care for seniors 65 and older, pregnant women and their children under 19 years of age, and disabled people and low-income residents. This insurance plan offered by the Granite State’s Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) covers services ranging from routine preventive medical care for children to institutional care for the elderly and disabled. Other services covered include primary care, dental care, mental health care, vision, hospice, and more.

Spectrum Health Systems offers comprehensive outpatient addiction treatment services including medication-assisted treatment, group and individual counseling and peer recovery support throughout Massachusetts.
In addition to NH Medicaid, Spectrum Health Systems also accepts Vermont Medicaid, Blue Benefit, Beacon Health Solutions, BMC, Anthem, CIGNA, Commonwealth Care All, Fallon, Health New England, Health Plans Inc., Harvard Pilgrim, Mass Laborers, Massachusetts Behavioral Health Partnership, Medicaid, Medicare, All Ways Health Partners, TriCare, Tufts, UniCare, United Behavioral Health, United Health Care and more. Regardless of insurance coverage, Spectrum Health Systems will ensure that treatment is found for anybody struggling with addiction.

The Haverhill facility at 100 Plaistow Road operates Monday through Sunday (M/T/W: 5:30am – 6:30pm; TH/F: 5:30am – 4pm; Sat/Sun: 5:30am – 12pm). Dispensing hours are Monday through Sunday from 5:30am – 12pm. The Saugus facility at 184 Broadway St. is open Monday through Sunday (M/T/W: 5:30am – 6:30pm; TH/F: 5:30am – 3pm; SAT/SUN: 5:30am – 11am). Dispensing hours are Monday through Sunday from 5:30am to 11am.

Spectrum Health Systems and the Massachusetts Department of Correction Collaborate to Address Opioid Addiction Among Offenders

Spectrum Health Systems will soon receive federal Byrne grant funding through a partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Correction (DOC) as part of the state’s Heroin and Opioid Crime Reduction State Initiative.  The Department received one of nineteen grants awarded in Massachusetts designed to help district attorneys, sheriffs and other criminal justice agencies combat the ongoing opioid abuse crisis.
