Spectrum Health Systems Holds 17th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Friends of Spectrum hit the links on October 15th at the Worcester Country Club, helping raise money in support of the Spectrum’s comprehensive continuum of addiction treatment services. The annual fundraiser drew more than 100 golfers and raised $85,000.

Spectrum Health System Golf TournamentAfter a day of golf at this historic course, attendees enjoyed a full-course dinner, awards presentation and live auction. The evening ended with a speech given by one of Spectrum’s clients who attributes his success to Spectrum’s recovery model. “I’m alive today because of Spectrum,” he said.

“Each year, we are incredibly moved by all the support we receive from community members and business partners, several of whom have participated every year since our first tournament in 2002,” said the organization’s President and CEO, Kurt Isaacson. “We’re especially appreciative of TD Bank who once again served as our tournament sponsor.”

Worcester, Mass. – April 14 Spectrum Health Systems Inc., a longtime nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a comprehensive continuum of evidenced-based treatment to help people overcome alcohol and other drug addictions, has incorporated an Introductory Certificate Program in Trauma Informed Care and a Comprehensive Program in Trauma Informed Care into its Educational Institute for employees. The program recently graduated 40 Spectrum employees, who will bring this experience back to their clients as a part of the company’s commitment to sustaining a safe and healing recovery environment for all.
