Spectrum Health Systems Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

Spectrum Health Systems, Inc., a longtime not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing a comprehensive continuum of addiction treatment throughout Massachusetts, announces the appointment of Joseph Rose, CPA, as its new Chief Financial Officer.

“We’re very pleased to have someone of Joe’s caliber assume executive leadership of our financial operations,” said Kurt Isaacson, President & CEO of Spectrum Health Systems. “Joe brings a wealth of senior-level, financial management experience in health and human service organizations, including those with multiple locations and varied funding sources, similar to Spectrum.”

Joe Rose ImageRose has wide-ranging expertise in finance and administration, including long and short-range forecasting, risk management, human resources, third-party billing, contracts and compliance. As Spectrum’s CFO, he will be responsible for financial reporting, strategic financial planning and analysis, budget management and contract development.

“I’m eager to join Spectrum Health Systems at this exciting time in the company’s evolution,” said Rose. “Spectrum has always been a mission-focused organization, with a reputation for strong business acumen, which has allowed the company to grow and diversify over time. For 16 years, Rose served as the Vice President of Finance and Administration at SleepMed, a $100 million provider of diagnostic and treatment services for sleeping disorders with operations in 38 states, provided through 8 wholly-owned subsidiaries and 3 majority-owned limited liability corporations. Prior to that he was the VP of Finance and Administration at Concord Family and Youth Services and CFO at Mass Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Rose earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Georgetown University.
