Spectrum Health Systems Announces New Vice President of Information Technology

Spectrum Health Systems, Inc., a longtime not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing a comprehensive continuum of addiction treatment throughout Massachusetts, announces today the appointment of Jonathan Miller as Vice President of Information Technology. In this newly created position, Miller will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company’s information technology strategy.

“Information technology in behavioral health care is more important than ever before,” said Spectrum Health Systems’ President and CEO Kurt Isaacson. “It’s the basis for providing quality integrated treatment, facilitating continuity of care and streamlining business operations. Increasingly, technology is being used to support individuals in recovery through mobile apps and provide clients with telehealth treatment options. Jonathan brings the requisite education, experience and skill set to provide hands-on management of our talented IT department.”

Miller brings more than 19 years of experience in the IT field, including 17 years working in the nonprofit sector. Most recently, he served as the Chief Information Officer and Compliance Officer at Y.O.U., Inc., a leading child welfare, behavioral health and education agency in Worcester, Mass. Earlier, he was the Director of Information Technology at Lighthouse Academies where he developed solutions to meet the data, technology and communication needs of the company, including 11 school sites across five states.

CARF accreditation is awarded to providers who meet state-of-the-art national standards of performance. Providers who seek CARF accreditation must demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based practices and continual quality improvement.
