Outpatient Program Director Lisa Blanchard was recently honored by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Bureau of Substance Abuse Services with an Individual Staff Recognition Award.  Lisa was one of just three individuals statewide to receive the award, which recognized individual contributions to innovations in prevention, intervention, recovery, treatment and research.

The award also recognized contributions to the integration of care both within and between systems and service areas.

In nominating her for the award, Kristin Nolan, Spectrum’s executive director of outpatient services, cited her significant contributions to Spectrum's behavioral health/primary care integration project, NIATx change process adaptation and peer-to-peer support service implementation.  “Quite candidly, more people are engaged and retained in high-quality, consumer-friendly treatment services today because of her leadership and forward-thinking.”

Lisa was presented the award at the 2013 Innovations in Addiction Conference held in Norwood, Massachusetts.

Based in Worcester, Massachusetts, Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit substance abuse and mental health treatment provider.
